The Lutheran South basketball teams are partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help grant a wish for the ninth year in a row!
Make-A-Wish basketball T-shirts can be purchased for $15 each. Alumni can pick up shirts at the Welcome Center. Students can pick up shirts during lunch. All of the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish.
Grab yours today and help the Lancers Make-A-Wish come true at the varsity boys game on Friday, February 14 against Priory at 7 p.m.
Recovering Social Skills for the Post-pandemic Generation Wednesday, February 19 6:30 p.m.
Because of the limited in-person interaction with peers and teachers during the pandemic, many students' communication and social skills have been impacted. Students missed out on opportunities to observe and practice nonverbal cues, learn conflict resolution, and navigate group settings. Join us on Wednesday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m., as two doctors from Cardinal Glennon, who specialize in pediatric development, will teach us what we can do to help our students recover well. This is a free event, but please RSVP so we know you are coming.
Saturday, February 22, 2025 in the Lutheran South Gym
Support the LuSo Baseball Teams, and join us for Rock and Roll Bingo on Saturday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Lutheran South Gym. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
The night will include bingo, a silent auction, balloon pop, 50/50, poker hand, and a wheelbarrow of booze. Tickets are $25 per person and $250 per table of 10. Bring your own snacks and drinks. Adult beverages are allowed.
The Lutheran South baseball teams are hosting a hog raffle. Tickets are $25 for your chance to win a whole hog, including meat processing. The winner will be drawn on Saturday, February 22.
Lusopaloozo Thursday, February 27, 2025 7:00 p.m. Jubel Center for the Arts
It's the night we've all been waiting for! Come check out our new Jubel Center for the Arts and join us for the Grand Opening Celebration with Lusopaloozo! The night will be led by Adam Countryman, Musical Director for the LCMS National Youth Gathering, and includes an alumni reunion of the 90's band, "The Rock." The Lutheran South pep band, concert choir, and some surprise guests will also make appearances.
Tickets are $25 each until February 9 and $30 after. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Students attending LuSo or at any middle school in grades 7-10 are invited to play on our B team. Athletes must have 2009, 2010, or 2011 birthdays.*
Cost is $900 and includes jerseys for use during the season, 15 practices and 10 games. The majority of practices will be Mondays at 4:20 p.m. at the Meramec Shark Tank. Games run mid-April through June.

*No 6th or 11th graders can be rostered regardless of their birth year. No Youth Tier 1 (AAA) or any players rostered on a Central States or Central States Prospects team.
The Lancerette season runs from August through February. The squad practices four times a week and performs at all home football and basketball games. Participation in additional fall and winter sports is not permitted. A total of 20 girls max will be selected. The Competition squad will include 12 - 14 members. An additional 6 - 8 members will make up the Gameday squad.
A mandatory clinic will be held Monday, March 24 - Wednesday, March 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Lutheran South.
