Visit Us

October 29, 2020, 6:30 p.m.

Due to shared concerns about recent COVID cases in our region, we have decided to offer more personalized meetings with prospective families and avoid the large group gathering on Thursday evening.

The best way to get to know Lutheran South is to see it in session. We love to meet families personally and get to know one another. Schedule a personal meeting so we can share with you why we think we are the best overall high school experience in town. Please call Katy Schmitt, Director of Admissions, to schedule: 314-833-1088 or complete the form below.

Fall Play

October 29 & 30, November 6 & 7

LuSo OnStage proudly presents All in the Timing by David Ives. This year's fall play is directed by seniors Abbie Kieffer, Harley Storie, Kayla Loesche, and William Rudzinski.

The world according to David Ives is a very odd place, and his plays constitute a virtual stress test of the English language - and of the audience's capacity for disorientation and delight.
Performances are October 29 - 30 and November 6 - 7. House opens at 6:30 p.m. with curtain at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale now through the LuSo app or by clicking the link below. Seating is limited.

Brew in the Lou

Even though we will miss tasting and toasting with you in person this fall, we’re excited to share this new way to support Lutheran education and local businesses with you. Brew in the Lou is one of our largest and most important fundraisers, and the revenue it raises provides much-needed services and scholarships to the 8,300 children and 500 educators we serve. Last year’s Brew raised $120,000 and allowed us to provide critical assistance to the children, families and schools affected by the economic shut-down. And as this crisis continues, many more will need our help.

The new Brew in the Lou Passport is a 12-month ticket to the best beer, wine, spirits and food in our great city for $30. Learn more about what's included and purchase your passport with the link below.

Homecoming

February 6, 2021

Whether or not we are allowed to play football in the county remains to be seen, but either way it seems unlikely that we will be able to gather as a group for our annual tailgate.  We have decided instead to encourage our alumni to join us for a Homecoming at the Sem Games. The games will be held this year at Lutheran South on February 6, 2021.
More details to follow.
