Student Life

A Place to Belong

A Place to Belong.

What does it mean to be a Lancer?
  • It means being part of a family that cares about you as a young Christian and as a child of God.
  • It means being prepared for college, both academically and personally as you prepare for college and career, and prepare to defend and share your faith.
  • It mean being part of a community of believers that encourages each other and grows together through great successes and difficult circumstances.
In addition to academic and spiritual preparation, at Lutheran South we challenge you to embrace opportunities to use your talents in athletics, music, drama, art, technology and many other areas. Through our many co-curricular activities, you will develop leadership skills that will enable you to direct and participate in activities that can change the world for Christ.
More than 90% of our students are involved in at least one co-curricular activity.
The Lutheran South House System is designed to develop student relationships across all grade levels and enhance school spirit and a sense of belonging.

Do what you love. Try new things.

Lancer co-curriculars include our outstanding athletic program, various clubs and organizations and opportunities for leadership in service. We encourage you to do the things you love and also try new things to help you discover what your future can hold.
