Senior Baccalaureate
One of the long-standing traditions for Lutheran South is to close each academic year in worship with the graduating class. This year, Rev. Matthew Hoehner, father to senior Joel Hoehner, reminded the graduates that God is the known in the unknown and because of His love for us, we can trust that He will care for us even in the midst of life's uncertainties.
Meet the class of 2023
They were accepted to 297 universities and earned more than $3.3 million in scholarships. Our graduates will be attending college in 16 different states across the country from Florida to Arizona. About 15% of the class intends to major in business in college and another 15% plans to go into the medical field. The remaining interests range from engineering to English and law to journalism. Fourteen students signed to continue their athletic careers in college. We can't wait to see what they will accomplish!
