The Lutheran High School South Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes the outstanding achievements of alumni who graduated at least 10 years ago and have realized significant accomplishments after high school.
This year's winners include a USA Olympic women's basketball coach, a business executive, an Air Force Colonel, a financial advisor and philanthropist, and the Apple engineer who helped invent AirDrop. We also are recognizing the Cross Country Championship teams from 1993, 1994, and 1997, as well as the coaches who led those teams - Phil Kershner and Doc Prahlow. Read their biographies below.
