Tuition and Affordability

An investment in the future

Lutheran South believes every family desiring a Christian education should have that chance. In 2020, more than half of our students benefited from over $2.1M in tuition assistance.

The typical Lutheran South family that qualifies for need-based financial assistance invests approximately 10% of their household adjusted gross income.

Lutheran South attempts to meet the financial need of families with multiple children. Families with more than one child should not expect to simply invest the same tuition amount for every child if there is a demonstrated need; rather, every situation is uniquely calculated to make attending Lutheran South a real possibility for siblings.

Merit-based assistance and association congregation grants are packaged with all need-based awards, making for an achievable and affordable financial investment.

The Tuition Assistance Program

The online financial assistance application process opens in October for the following school year. Priority will be given to families who apply by January 31.  Families who apply after that date may receive a reduced award. Financial assistance award letters will be mailed on a rolling basis beginning December 1. Families seeking assistance must complete the application process prior to receiving an award.

Merit-based scholarships and grants will automatically be awarded for all applicants. For families seeking financial assistance, these scholarships and grants are included in your total financial award package.

To apply please complete the confidential application process with the link below.
