Curriculum

Take the Challenge. Be Prepared.

Lutheran South offers a college preparatory curriculum for all students with the goal of preparing each student for the college level. To achieve this goal, students are required and/or encouraged to take a solid core curriculum of English, mathematics, science, social science, and foreign language courses in addition to theology, practical arts, fine arts, physical education, and health.

Lutheran South offers Advanced Placement (AP) and 1818 Advanced College Credit (ACC) courses with St. Louis University, allowing students to earn college credit while still in high school. Many students graduate with as much of a semester's worth of college credit. LuSo also offers an accelerated math program for qualifying freshmen and an honors section of English I and English II.
