CHEER MINI CAMP
Saturday, January 31 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Lutheran South Gym
Mini Camp is open to students in grades K-8. Participants will learn cheers, a dance and stunts to be performed prior to the Lutheran South varsity basketball game on Friday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m.
$35 registration - includes a shirt, bow, and snack
The Lutheran South basketball teams are partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help grant a wish for the tenth year in a row!
Make-A-Wish basketball T-shirts can be purchased for $15 each. Alumni can pick up shirts at the Welcome Center. Students can pick up shirts during lunch. All of the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish.

Calling all former Lancerettes...come back to campus on Friday, February 6 for a varsity boys basketball game, meet our current squad, reconnect...and maybe even dance!
We have added two 8-counts to our routine, and we'd love to have you dance with us. If you're more comfortable just attending, that's an option, too. Either way, we hope you join us! RSVP to attend OR attend and perform.
Join us on Saturday, February 7 at Peace Lutheran Church for Rhythm and Clues - a trivia night to support the Lutheran South bands. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. with trivia beginning at 7:00 p.m. Bring your own snacks and beverages. $25 per person. Tables of 8 for $200
Students who have been accepted to Lutheran South's Class of 2030 and have submitted their registration fee are invited to LuSo Decision Day on Tuesday, February 10. Meet your future classmates, select your classes, and enjoy a Lutheran South basketball game! Designed for students and their parents or guardians, LuSo Decision Day offers the opportunity to connect with faculty and begin forming new friendships.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and we will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Pizza will be available for new students.
February 13, 2026 Final Four Recognition & Parade of Women Athletes
Make plans to join us on Friday, February 13 to honor the 2006 Final Four Girls Basketball Team and recognize all the women athletes who have graced these halls.
Tip-off for the girls game vs. John Burroughs is at 5:30 p.m. A parade of women athletes and Final Four team recognition will take place at halftime. A reception will follow.
This is a free event, but please RSVP so we know to expect you.
Saturday, February 21, 2026 in the Lutheran South Gym
Support the LuSo Baseball Teams, and join us for Rock and Roll Bingo on Saturday, February 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Lutheran South Gym. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
The night will include bingo, a silent auction, balloon pop, 50/50, poker hand, and a wheelbarrow of booze. Tickets are $25 per person and $250 per table of 10. Bring your own snacks and drinks. Adult beverages are allowed.
The Lutheran South baseball teams are hosting a hog raffle. Tickets are $25 for your chance to win a whole hog, including meat processing. The winner will be drawn on Saturday, February 21.

LuSo Cheer is hosting a Daddy Daughter Dance on Saturday, February 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for girls and their fathers. The Candy Land-themed night will include an auction, crafts, games and a glam station - perfect for girls ages 4 -11.
Reservations are $35 (for daughter and dad). Each additional daughter is $15. VIP experiences are also available and include flowers for the girls and a shout-out from the DJ.
The Lancers will battle the Crusaders in the traditional bragging rights games on Saturday, February 28 at Lutheran North.

Varsity Boys - 1:00 p.m.
Tickets are $5 cash at the door.
The Sem Games were created in 1977 as a day of basketball between Lutheran South and Lutheran North. For many years, the games were played in the field house at Concordia Seminary, which was also the home court of Lutheran High School at Lake and Waterman. Over the past decade, the Sem Games have been held at both schools and at various college campuses.

Does your child enjoy shooting hoops? Love creating and drawing? Want to try a new sport like football or field hockey? LuSo Summer Camp offers a variety of athletic and enrichment activities with morning and afternoon sessions available.
From video editing to woodworking, we have instructors who offer positive reinforcement. Your campers will have fun while learning a new skill.
Grade school athletes interested in playing football have the opportunity to join a tackle football team next year. The team will be made up of students entering 4th and 5th grade in 2026-27 school year. The season will run from August through October and practices will begin in July at Lutheran South.
