A 5-foot-10 senior forward who will continue her career at Missouri Baptist, Howard averaged a tournament-leading 18.3 points per game and was named most valuable player after helping lead the Lancers to the title of the 12th annual Washington Tournament. It was South’s first championship in the event since 2019. Howard scored a single-game career high of 20 points to go along with 10 rebounds in a quarterfinal win over Warrenton. She had 17 points and 6 rebounds in a semifinal victory against Francis Howell Central and had 18 points and 4 rebounds as South topped Ursuline 54-44 for the title. Howard has scored in double figures in 10 of the last 11 games for the 15-3 Lancers. She also was all-tournament as South won its own event in early January.
