Campus News
We started the semester strong. Teachers and students alike are happy to be back in school, learning in person. Sports and extracurricular activities have resumed. We even won our first two football games of the season! We pray that God continues to protect our community as we learn amidst a pandemic. Thank you for your support and prayers!

Join us for Homecoming on Friday, October 15 at the All-Alumni Tailgate with music, snacks, and beverages. Watch the Lancers take on the Cougars from Lutheran St. Charles.

Distinguished Alumni members will be recognized during the game, as well as retired faculty, including Greg Gastler, Debbie Smith, Bill Rusch, and Ken Steinbrueck.
Don't miss this opportunity to reconnect with old friends!
The votes are in! After input from hundreds of alumni, we are proud to announce the two new houses at Lutheran South: House Rusch and House Rauh - named after two amazing teachers who used to grace these halls.

Lutheran South hired two alumni to come back as teachers this year. Natalie Mayor, LS '14,  is back at Lutheran South as the new choir director. Ms. Mayor is a music teacher and musician, performing at the Muny, on Fox 2 news, and at other events and venues throughout the St. Louis area. She graduated from Webster University in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Performance and is working on a Master's in Jazz Performance at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is looking forward to helping students grow in faith and in music.
Sean Cowie, LS '12, is Lutheran South's new Industrial Tech and STEM teacher. Mr. Cowie taught at Our Savior Lutheran and was a supervisor at Home Depot. When not working, he spends his time remodeling his house and hanging out with family. He is looking forward to discovering all the ways that South has changed over the past decade.
Helping refugee families with online studies, Lutheran South donated 25 iMacs, which were no longer being used, to Christian Friends of New Americans. Families from Nepal, Afghanistan, Congo, Yemen, and Uganda who participate in CFNA’s ESL and After-School Tutoring programs, were among those who were grateful to receive the devices.
Members of the Class of 1961 celebrated their 60th reunion this past May. If you are interested in helping plan your reunion, please contact alumni coordinator Laura Reis at LReis@LSlancers.org.
